Wellington, This day. The Hon. Mr Buckley will go by the Hinemoa to Sydney to receive and welcome the now Governor.
The sum of £11,000 of the total shrinkage of £14,000 in the stamp revenue is accounted for by a falling off in the death duties.
Mr Seddon spends his Easter holidays with his family at Kumara. He afterwards visits Auckland and the districts north of that city.
The Wellington Liberal Association will send a congratulatory address to Sir George Grey on his birthday. Viscount Masserene, who is.at present staying at Wellington, goes south shortly, and on returning will visit the no-thera portion of this Island.
The Trades and Labor Counoil will probably supply the tramway strikers with three busses to run in opposition to the trams.
