They have in Melbourne a Waterloo veteran in the person of Jeremiah Brown, who recently celebrated his 100 th birthday. The old man, who is tho sole survivor of Waterloo in Australia, and perhaps in tho

He spent his 100 th birthday at the Waterloo Cyclorama, whero for nearly two years he was to be seen daily, and where he delighted to talk of his experiences as a British soldier. of London, has been adjudioated a bankrupt. His liabilities are £3580, of which £2380 are unsecured, with net assets £135. Betweon 1871 and 1884 the debtor had many business engagements in New Zealand, and in 1887 went to the colony, where he remained two years.
