FOOTBALL.
The Pirates Football Club held their annual general meeting at the Masonic Hotel last evening, Mr Thomas Sidey occupying the chair. The balance-sheet and report, presented by the secretary were adopted, and showed that tho condition of the Club was of an extremely satisfactory character. A number of new members were elected, after which office-bearers for the ensuing season werfs appointed as follows:—President, Mr T. Sidey ; vicepresidents, Messrs R. Smith, S. Crowther, C. W. Reardon, O. H Edwards, J. Wolstenholme, F. Moeller, J. Beateon, and J. Drummond ; captain, Mr T. Morrison ; deputy captain, Mr J. H. Swan : secretary and treasurer, Mr J. E. Cowell; committee, Messrs Slalco", Yatos, Crowley, Schwabe, and Whittington ; delegatos to the Bugby Union, Messrs Morrison and Whittington ; delegate to Sports Protection Society, Mr T. Morrison.
