NORTH OTAGO RACES.
At the above races yesterday La Rose (7st 71b) won the Flying Handicap by a head from Rose Leaf; time, lmin 16sed. Vivian Gray won the October Trot, and paid a dividend of £12 17s. The Spring Handicap was won by Blizzard, Liberator being second, and Miss Mac third. Quibble, Wayland, and Courage also started. Miss Mack led till half a mile from home, when Blizzard disposed of her, and stalling off a resolute challenge from Liberator, won hands down by three parts of a length. Time, 2min 41£seo. Dividend, £1 lis.
