She leaves again this evening. # The barquentine Pendle Hill is now loading potatoes for Sydney. _ The Kahu passed the Kiwi the other side of Castlepoint. Tho Kiwi was then only going south, so it will be some days before ehe returns here. . The N.Z. Shipping Company's s.s. JJnfee of Westminster will arrive from Sydney tomorrow or Saturday. She loads here 10 000 carcasses mutton from Messrs Nelson Bros.' works. 7,600 from the N.B. and H.B. Freezing, and about 700 bales wool. She proceeds hence to Wellington. _ The N.Z. Shipping Co.'s Tekoa arrived at Bio de Janiero on Sunday last. Her refrigerator was working well, and her frozen meat was in good condition. The following sailing vessels are now komeward bound from Napier:—Killeena, fcarque, 80 days out; Mairi Bahn, ship, /2 d»ys out; Oamaru, ship, 58 days out; Opawa, chip, 44 days out.

The Australia is due from Wellington tonight and leaves for the north at 3 p.m. to-morrow. , The bouthern Cross is due from northern ports early to-morrow morning, and leaves for Wellington at noon. The Rotomahana arrives from northern ports early on Saturday morning, ahe Ahnriri takes off the outward passengers at 2 p.m. , __ . The Waihora will not arrive from Melbourne and southern ports till Sunday forenoon. The Ahuriri takes off the outward passengers at 4 p.m.
