(Received May 7, noor.). ADELAIDE BAKERS VICTORIOUS. Adelaide, This day. The master bakers have conceded the demands of the men out on strike owing to a split in their ranks. SIR HENRY NORMAN. Bbisbane, This day. Sir Henry Norman, who has been on a visit to England, has returned. QUEENSLAND LOAN. It is probable that a new loan of about two and a-half millions will be placed on the market on the 14th inst. THE STRIKES. It is understood that the Government hive issued ordere for the strikers' camps to be dispersed immediately, and it is expected that only passive resistance will be offered to this step by the men. STEAMSHIP COMPANY AMALGAMATION. Hobaet, This day. At a meeting of shareholders of the Tasmanian Bteatn Navigation Company the proposal for sale to the Union Steamship Company of New Zealand was adopted. Much regret was expressed at the absorption of the old company, and several large shareholders were inclined to form a new company.
