VESSELS IN PORT.
Oamaru, ship ' Mairi Bhan, ship Lily, schooner Crest of the Wave, schooner Opotiki, schooner Flying Scud, barquentine The steamer Tarawera, which sailed from Wellington for Napier and Auckland on Saturday night, returned to port yesterday morning with some of her boiler tubes leaking. She encountered a very heavy sea in the Straits. The s.s. Pakeha left Lyttelton for London yesterday with a full cargo of meat, wool, &c. The ship Opawa left Lyttelton for Gisborne on Saturday night. The R.M.S. Arawa left for Lyttelton early yesterday morning, and arrived at her destination at 6 o'clock this morning. The ship Oamaru either slipped or broke her cable this morning, and stood out to sea. , The following sailing vessels are now homeward bound from Napier:—Piako, ship, 107 days out, Asterion, barque, 89 days out; J3thelbert, barque, 5S days out; Balclutha, ship, 60 days out; Euterpe, ship, 65 days out; Turakina, ship, 30 days out; Rangitiki, ship, 26 days out.
