The 25th (Christmas Day) and New year's Uay will be observed as a cloBO holiday at all Post Offices. On Boxing Day, 26th inst., tbe Chief Post Office wi'.lonly be open from 9 to 10 a.m. _ On the 24th and 31st inst., all receiving and posting boxes will be cleared at S p.m., and mails usually despatched on Thursdays will be closed on Wednesday, 24th and 31st inst., at 10 p m. A delivery of letters will bo made over the counter at Chief Post Office, immediately after mails by late train are sorted on 24th and 31st inst., commencing about 9 3 ° - 3. J.
