Poole £80 15s, Mr Mercer £76, Mr Stewart £66 10s, Mr J. Smith £52 ss. Twenty-one others received various sums under £50, bringing the total up to £3734 ss.

At Hastings on Saturday a match will beplayed between the Napier and County Cricket Clubs, to play off the tie for Capt. Russell's Cup, which should hare- been decided last season. Each club will play one innings at Hastings, and thematch will! be concluded tho following Saturday on theRecreation Ground. The Napier Club will be represented by the following players :— J. Wolstenholme, Geo. White. J. Martin,. O. R. Smith, O. H. Edwards, H. Martin,. J. H. 3wan, R. W. Percy, A. Freeman,, Gea. Kendall, and H. Fannin. On the Recreation Ground on SaturtTrry teanis representing the Wesleyan and, Presbyterian Bands of Hopo and the juniors from tho Napier Cricket Club will play in a match. The Napisr juniors 'will bo represented by the following : —Sy'iney White, H. White, Wodehouse (2), Brewer, Murton, Jamieson. Williams, Ferguson, Buck, and F. Hawkins.
