FOUliTH—The net increase to tho business, after allowing- for loss of incomo from terminated Policies was represented by 702S Policies, assuring £2,109,199. FIFTH—The operations of tho year raised the annual income of tho Society from I .C1,512,'280 to £1,02.3,185, an inereasoin ! twelve months of ! £112,905 SIXTH—The Accumulated Fund was increased during the year by tho sum of £742,311, equal to 71 per cent, of tbe gross premiums received. SEVENTH—The deaths among livas assured were 019 under 705 policies, causing cluiins upon the Socioty amounting to £299,002, irrespective of Bonus additions, whilo the number expected according to tho Tables used iv estimating ihe liabilities would havo boon 1143, for an amount of £4:f5,970, the mortality experience being thus oxtre-nely fuTorable.
