These races aro open to all horses that have never won an Advertised Stake or Prize exceeding the valuo of £40 at the time of Nomination, except the District Races. NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS, ACCEPTANCES, &o. Nominations for all Handicaps, TUESDAY, 9th December. Weights appear TUESDAY, 16th December. Acceptances and General Entries close TUESDAY, 23rd December. RULES AND CONDITIONS. All races to be run under Metropolitan Rules of Racing. Any horse winning a race the value of £25 after the declaration of the weights to carry a penalty of 71b. Penalties not cumulative. All Nominations, Acceptances, and Entries close at 8 p.m. on their respective dates, and are to be addressed to the Secretary, Ormondville. Five per cent deducted from tho gross amount of all stakes. For farther particulars vide Metropolitan Rules. Telegraph Office closes at Ormondville at 5 p.m. District Races are only open to horses that have been in tho district three months previous to the day of the races, and must be nominated by a bona fide resident in the district of three months' standing-, district to consist of Ormondville, Norsewood, and Takapau Road Distriots and Ormondville Town District.
