Ddnedin, This day. At Forbury this morning Occident did a very slow mile canter, running as though sore. St. Malo had a half-speed spin for a mile, going freely. Wolvoriue would not try, and though he beat Wayland over the Cup course, the spectators were not impressed. Freedo.n did only an easy canter, and Princo Warden ditto. Milord walked before the touts were present. Tho others that shaped best were Waitangi, Romulus, Ahua, Lady Bell, Assyrian King, Oenone, Liquidation, Marine), Dragon, and Distho latter doing the best mile of tijfii morniug. The work generally was > Occident ricked himself on Saturday, whioh greatly militated against his chance, yet / the stable wero willing last night to take f fives about him, but could not be accommodated.
