IN pursuanco of the ** Regulations of Elections Act, 1881," and "The Electoral Acts Amendment Act, 1890," I, Edward Patten, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Napier, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fifth day of November, 1890, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an election will be hold for the return of a qualified person to serve as a member for the said Electoral District; and that a Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district ou the fifth day of December, 1890. Every person desirous of becoming a Candidate must bo nominated by not less than two electors of the district, by a Nomination Paper, as prescribed by section 5 of the Amendment Act, delivered to the Returning Officer, on or before tho 27th day of November, IS9O.
