MR SWAN AT TARADALE.
Tho Oddfellows' Hall at Taradalo was last night crowded to its, utmost capacity by lotersS cue and who dcs red to hear Mr Swan address them on the political Questions of the day. Mr liymet was voted to the chair, and he stated he was sure that So Tarttdak people would a- they alwuys had dorrc in tho pant, accrd the Candidato a fide and impartial hearing, and ho called unon Mr Swan to address them . P Mr Swan, on rising, was heartily received, and ho explained that he did not propose to deliver a It speech, but would like to have «friendly kuroro with both those who he honed wero his supporters and also those X were now detected to hi* Candidature, but who might bo inchnod to Ms side. He then gave ins v.ews on the land, education, party government, local manufactures, and tho railway q„e«a nd met with hearty applause at the !, of tho meeting.
