London, November 17. Mr Justice Bufct, before whom the divorce case of O'Sliea v. O'Shoa and Parnell wae trioJ, eaid that the evider.ca was so strong that tbora was no necessity for h lengthy summing-up. It was shown that house after house had been taken under aliases and iv one instance Mr Parnoll escaped by means of a fire escape upon the unexpected return of the petitioner to his wife's residence. Hiere was no evidenc? of connivance, and the .nidge refused r<, allow the corf poudent to avail himself of the plea that Captain O Shea connived at Mr Parnell's intimacy with hta wife, or that there was collusion or neglect on his part. The Judtro administered a severo rebuke to Mr Parnell for availing himself of hie friendship with the husband to debauch his wife The counter charge against the petitioner of adultery with his wife's eieter the learned Judge onanwtotieed as baseless and abomi . nablo. Tho jury returned their verdict without quitting they- box.
