The Baptist Union at Aunkiand have appointed tho Roy A. North aa their deleirato at tho annual conference of the Baptist Missionary Society %i London next year. At the R.M. Court this morning, before Mr Pieeco, R.M , Robert McPhnrson was charged with having on the 21th July last, at Wellington, unlawfully committed damage to a certain glass window, tho property of one Philip Barnes, doing injury to tbe "extent of £2 10s. He was further charged with having, at Wellington, unlawfully used obscene lauguairo at the Cambridge Hotel. Tho accused pleaded guilty, and was remanded to Wellington.
