TOWN EDITION.
Groat interest wns taken in the county election at Danevirko yesterday. Mea-irw F. W. Knight and Angus Maclcay (the old member) were the candidates. Mr Knight polled 11, and Mr Mackay 43 with one informal vote. Mr D. Mackay was tho Deputy Returning Officer. Tho whole afr'iur pas-sed off with mutual good fueling and best of order throughout the whole day.
