With reference to ex-Constable Gillespie's case, Mr H. O'Koy is publishing in tho Taranaki and Wanganui papers the follow - ing notices: —"On account of thu Grand Jury of Wanganui throwing out the bill without examining my witnesses, I now call on Mr Bifset and Constable Gillespie to prove in open Court that I was in Stratford ou the 27th Jauuary last or any day between tho Mth January and tho 28th, and I challenge tltem to prove that any conversation took place between Mr Gillespie and mo during that period. H. O'Key." Tlie charge of perjury was based on tho question of thu date whon the conversation took pluee.
