Competition for all lots of wool and sheepskins was very brisk and late rates wero fully maintained, but hides, excopt very prime heavy sorts, are not iv demand and consequently neglected and difficult to quit. Hides.—Country lots (light weights) Id to 1 \d per lb, and several lots not reaching owners' reserve were passed in. Tallow. — Medium quality rendered Ud.
