As useless an expenditure as ever has been incurred by this colony ooased yesterday, when the fourth session of the tenth Parliament was brought to a close. To the last moment of its existence it justified the decision of tho country to. lessen the number of its mambers. And now that the masquerade is over there is only ono feeling, and that is one of unmitigated contempt for the performance of the h.st three mouths, which has brought party government and Parliamentary representanon into ridicule Not one day during the whole session has the business, or the desutes, or the questions raised, been of the slightest importance, or of public interest. Thtre is nothing more to be addedbut th,e expression I of thankfulness that twotty-oue of the men who took part in tho firee will uever disgrace a Parliamentary stige again.
