London, August 14. Of the August shipment of Australian wheat 5500 quarters have been sold at 38s. New Zealand hemp, steady ; 2300 bales were sold at auction to-day; fair Auckland brought £20 ss, good Wellington £21 ICs. New Zealand beef, hind-quarters 4d_ fore-quarters 2Jd. Mutton unchanged. The strikes in South Wales have been settled.
Another firm of lawyers have declined to act in Mrs O'Shea's divorce ease.
