Inveecabgill, This day. The body of William Roonoy, bailiff, missing,from Cromwell two months ago, has been found throe miles below the town. Jesse Gibbs, farmer, of Heddon Bush, was to-day committed to the Supremo Court on a charge of stealing sheep on the Bayswater estate, the property of tho Scottish and New Zealand Investment Company. On a second charge of stealing seventy-"three from the Gladfield estate belonging to the British and New Zealand Mortgage Company, he was remanded till the 31st inst. Bail was refused.
