The 8.8. Fanny returned from Gisborno last night. The Union Company's e.s. Southern Cross, Captain Black, arrived from northern ports at 11 o'clook last night, and was at once brought to the wharf. She left tor Wellington this afternoon. .. The Union Company's s.s. Australia steamed for northern ports at 4.00 p.m. yesterday. _ , The brigantino Oaraaru sailed for Sydney tbie looming, being towed out by the e.s. Ahuriri. She took a full load of potatoes. The schooner Spray, Captain Palhson, arrived from Timaru this morning. She left Timaru on 14th instant, and brings a full cargo of flour from there. Tho Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana, Captain Kennedy, arrived from Aucklaud and Gisborne at's.3o a.m. She experienced gome heavy weather coming across tho Bay of Plenty, and got delayed considerably in consequence. The Ahuriri tendered her ou arrival, and took ofi tho outward passensrers at 2 p.m. The Union Company's s.s. Mararoa left Wellington at 8.30 p.m. yesterday, and ■would arrive here about 3 p.m. to-day. The Ahuriri takes off the outward pasBangers at o p.m. The Union Company's collier Kawatin left Greymouth at 9.30 last night, and is due here on Monday morning. Tho schooner Dunedin haa put in at Akaroa for shelter. The following sailing vessels from JSapier are now on their way to London :—Lochnagar (Sinclair), 115 daya out; Opawu (Hainon), t>2 days out ; Lady Jooelyn (Watt), 13.
