A number of informations have been sworn against Edward J. Robinson, formerly olerk in the Shipping Department of Customs, charging him with embezzling moneys of Government. Robinson was formerly in Wellington, hut threo or four months ago was removed to Dunedin. He is believed to have left for Sydney.
