Tho Railway Hotel at Wyndham, occupied by Mr John Monaghan, was burned down at three o'clock this morning:. Very
little was saved, the inmates escaping with scant clothing. Tho building we* insured for£ssoandthe»tock and furniture for£2so, both in the New Zealand office, with reinsurances iv the North German and Colonial offices amounting to £525. Thocause of the firo was a defective chimney.
