PAY YOUR PROPERTY TAX.
W_tii«OTON, This day. No returns of the Property tax have come in yet. as tbe Department has given up the practice of having them telegraphed to Wellington, and tow receive them by mail in tbe ordinary course. To-morrow is the last day on which the tax can be paid without the imposition of ten per cent, penalty. The majority of persons always wait till the last moment, so that tho amount received will not be known for somo time.
