Messrs F. W. Williams and Kettle report that they made shipments of flax on account of Messrs Wood and Thorpe, which sold as uuder :—o bales per Ruapahu, £31 10s ;20 bales per Rimutaka, £30 10s : 5 bales per Rimutaka, £31 10s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following cablegram from their London offieo, dated the 16th instant:—Tallow.-Market firmer; good mutton 26s and good beef 21s 0d per owt. Mutton. —Market quiet; Canterbury 4gd, Wellington 4id per lb. Beef. — Market dull; hindquarters 4£d per lb.
