Dkaii Sib, —Being intimate with one of the Priuoipal Supervisors of Kxciso hero, I sent him a few dozen of Messrs Speight & Co.'a Duuedin Beer, with the object of wetting an opinion of the Exoiso Chemist on it, and 1 urn glad to say he has pronounced it one of the Finest Beers he ever analysed, it having , the high specific gravity of 10 SO deg., the greatest amount of spirit, and the best quality of acid ho ever came across. When I tell you that every shipment of Beer going out of the Clyde must be sampled by the Exciee Officers, and then anulysed by their Chemists, I consider this opinion is better than anything else I could say on it. One hundred and twenty Barrels of Beor were submitted quite indiscriminately from all parts of the world, and had to be tec.ted against one another at one and the same time. Your Jurors have had eleven Meetings, extending over a period of one Month, from 20th November to 20th December, and have deliberated on au average of three hours each sitting, so that ample time and care was duly taken to form a eorroct and acceptable judgment.
