Feilding, This day. Yesterday in tho presence of about 200 dairymen aud farmers, a public testwas made of Stevens and Mountfort's cold vacuum process for preserving fresh butter, &c. It was shown that uusalted butter keeps perfectly sweet during a year. The process, which is entirely mechanical, may bo used by any dairyman. Practical men aro of opinion that it will revolutionise the dairying industry in New Zealand,
