RULES AND REGULATIONS. No entry will be received for any race except upon the conditions that all claims, ' disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall be settled by the Stewards, or [ whom they may appoint, and their decision ' on all points shall be final. All protests inuet be accompanied with a ' deposit of 2 soys, which sum shall be for- ! feited if the protest is not sustained. Five per cent, will bo deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. ; Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent, of a stake. Winner of any handicap after the declaration of the weights to carry 71b penalty. 1 Hack shall mean any horse which has • never started for any weight-for-age or handicap race (hack and pony races exJ oepted). - Races run under Metropolitan Rules.
