George Prltchard's hose factory at Mount RoHkill was destroyed by fire. Insurance— £100 in the London and Lancashire office. Messrs. Stone Bros., Auckland, have decided to dispose of their fleet of sailing vessels, with a view to gcing into tho steam shipping trade. Judge Gillies decided that no boilingdown establishment can bo erected without tho permission of tho local Board of Health of the district. The criminal returns whow a decrease in crimo for tho year.
