Wo dipped over two thousand of our best ewos with their lambs and about three thousand five hundred hoggets almost direotly off the shears without the loss of a sheep from the dipping or any damage whatever to eitber sheep or wool. They were dipped in November. Yesterday we had about fifteen hundred of them in tho yards, and though we looked carefully could not find a tick on the merino, and only one on a crossbred lamb. —Yours truly, ROYSE & ANDERSON. Pakowhai, September 20, 1888. Messes Eakins aud Co. Gentlemen,- I have great pleasure in testifying again this Beason to the effloaoy of your Improved Sheep Dip. This is the third season that I have used your dip, and find it equally satisfactory. To Mahanga, 24th September, 1888Messbs Eakins and Co., Napier. Dear Sirs, —I have used your "Improved Sheep Dip" for tho last two ewasori&V and it has givon me the utmost satisfaction. % I havo tested it with other Dips, and have no hesitation in saying that it is the best and most reliable Dip I have ever used. I intend to continue using it. Yours faithfuUy, WILLIAM DOUGLAS. Takapau, 24th September, 1888. Mebsbs Eakins and Co., Napier. 0 Dear Sirs,—lt gives me pleasure to bear testimony to the excellency of yonr " Improved Sheep Dip." I have used it for several years on both my stations with most satisfactory results. I consider it the host and most economical Dip in the market. Yours faithfully, ALEXANDER GRANT ,t THE NEW ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE AGENCY COMPANY are the Sole Agents for Hawko's Bay for the sale of our Improved Sheep Dip, b and ordors for the future will please be sent direct to that Company, who will keep a supply of Dip always on hand. EAKINS AND CO. b thel^f^ * TO THE FRONT. INSTRUCTIONS will bo found on every drum, and if carried out a failure is impossible. G. Heslop being a practical Sheepfarmer, aud 3 years in tho manufacturing of the above Dip, finds that by dipping a lamb in every brew before leavingj the works is the only test in turning out an efficacious and uniform Dip. , '_ From J. R. Lanauze, Esq. (Auctioneer and Stook Agent for Murray, Roberts and Ob.), Hawke's Bay, IstNovember, 188 S. In reply to yours of the 29th ult., wyour Sheep Dip, I have used it in the month of j March on long-woolled and crossbred sheep, and always found it most effectual in destroying lico and ticks, and the sheep were quite iree from parasites when shorn the following November. The Dip is in no way detrimental to the wool, not leaving tho 7 slightest stain. On one occasion 1 dipped 300 long-woolled 2-tooth wethers in your Dip, and put with them 350 orossbred 2-tooth ewes, which had not been dipped, and wero badly affected with lico and ticks, and after being in tho same paddock for " seven weeks tho dipped shoep wero carofully examined and found to be perfectly free from all parasites. From Philip Dolbel, Esq., Springfield, Hawke's Bay, sth November, 1888. In reply to yours of 27th October, j-eyour Shoep Dip, it is n fact that tho 12 sheep of ours, dipped iv your N.Z. Sheep Dip, as an experiment, havo boon running in our flock, and when examined wero found perfectly oloan, and the flock which they were running with had boon dipped in another Dip, and found on examination to be badly affected with lico. I may state, in justice to your enquiry, that there could be no mistake us to the 12 sheep above mentioned, as they wero carefully branded. From Ewen Cameron, Esq., Toanga, Poverty Bay, 10th September, 1888. Having used the Now Zealand Sheop Dip for 3 years in succession, can safely say it ia 1 fully equal, if not superior, to any Dip I havo used. From Geo. Bee, Esq., Mohaka, Hawke's Baj*, Ist September, 1886. I dipped 3000 hoggets with your Dip last year (March), mixing the bath according to instructions on tho drums, and found it quito strong enough to kill taoks. There wero no lico on tho shoep, but had thero been I am quite sure- it would havo killed " them. Tho Dip is very easy to mix, and does not stain or discolor tho wool. I dipped the sheep right under and did not lose one through poisoning. lam quitesatisfied with tho Dip aud intend to uso it again this coming season.
