Bowling.
On tho bowling green on Saturday a soratch match was played, sides being chosen by Messrs Luxford and Yates. Tho green was in very bad condition, aud so that it may bo better on Saturdays in future it will not bo open to members "on Friday, but will be at the disposal of members on every utherday. Thematchwasplayediutwospells, andwnsaverycloseono. AthalftimeMrLuxford had a majority of one, but when the last head had boon played he was iv a minority of two. At rink No. IMr Luxford won tho first spell easily, while Mr Yates had a majority in the second spell; the former scored six points iv each of three heads.
