Malls Close
For the Sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, «Src, fie San Francisco, will close on Saturday, 20th inst., at 6 a.m. Money orders will close at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 6 p.m., on Friday, 28th inst. This mnil will be due in London on 4th February. For Wellington, Southern ports of New Zealand, and Hoburt, per Rotomahana, on Saturday, at 1 p.m. For Gisborne, Auckland, and Australian colonies, per Manapouri, ou Saturday, at 8 p.m. The s.e. Richmond will leave Auckland for
South Sea L lands nbmit 29th inst. The s.s. Eiihu will leave Lyttelton for Chatham Islands about 31st inst.
POST OFFICE HOLIDAYS. Tuesday, 25 int>t. (Christmas Day), and New Yenr'e Day will bo observed as close holiday at all Post Offices. Mails tißually despatched on Tuesday mornings will close at 0 p.m. on previous Mondays, 24th and 31st instance. A delivery of letterH will bo made over tho counter immediately after mails are sorted by lato train on 21th and ."Ist inst., commencing at about 9.45. p.m.
