A Wo dipped over two thousand of our best ewes with their lambs and about three thousand five hundred hoggets almost directly off the shears without the loss of a sheepfrom tlie dipping or any damage whatever to either Rheep or wool. They were dipped in November. Yesterday we had about fifteen hundred of them ia the yards, and though we looked carefully could not find a tick on the merino, and only one on a crossbredlamb—Yours truly, .-.,-..■ ROYSE & ANDERSON. Takapau, 24th September, 1888. Mebsbs Eakins and Co., Napier. '• _,;■::: Dear Sirs,—lt gives mo pleasure to bear testimony to the excellency of your" " Improved Sheep Dip." I have used it for several years on both my stations with most satisfactory results. I consider it the best and most economical Dip in the market. TO THE FRONT! INSTRUCTIONS will be found on overy drum, and if carried out a failulro is impossible. G. Heslop being a practical Sheepfarmer, and 3 years in the manufacturing of the above Dip, finds that by dipping a lamb in every brew before leaving tho works is the only test in turning out an efficacious and uniform Dip.' ' From J. R. Lauaune, Esq. (Auctioneer and Stock Agent for Murray, Roberts and Co.), Hawke's Bay, IstNoveinber, 1888. In reply to yours of the '29th ult., re your, Sheep Dip, I havo used it in the moiith of March on long-woolled and crossbred sheep, and always found it most effectual in destroying lice aud ticks, and the sheep were quite iree from parasites when shorn the following November. The Dip is in no way detrimental to the wool,' not leaving this slightest stain. On one occasion I dipped 300 long-woolled 2-tooth wethefcs in your Dip, and put with them 350 crossbrod 2-tooth owes, which had tiot been dipped, and wei-e badly affected with lice and ticks, and after being in the same paddookforseven weeks tho dipped sheep were carefully examined and found to be perfectly free from all parasites. - 7 .'.."'7* From Philip Dolbol, Esq., Springfield, Hawke's Bay, sth November, 1888. In reply to yours of 27th October, re your Sheep Dip, it is a fact that the 12 s!_eep\of ours, dipped in your N.Z. Sheep Dip, as an experiment, have been 1 running in o*r flook, and when examined were found perfectly olean, and tho flock which they weWi rail- J ning with had been dipped in another Dip, and found on examination to be Badly """1 affected with lice. I may state, in justice to your enquiry, that thero could be no mis- ( tako as to the 12 sheep above mentioned, as they .vero carefully branded. From Eweu Cameron, Esq., Toanga, Poverty Bay, 10th September, 1888. Having used the New Zealand Sheep Dip for 3 years in succession, caa safely SJiy it is fully equal, if not superior, to any Dip I have used. From Geo. Bee, Esq., Mohaka, Hawko's Bay, Ist September, 188 S. I dipped 3000 lioggets with your Dip last year (March), mixing the bath Scoorcting to instructions on the drums, and found it quite strong enough to kill ticks. There were no lieo on the sheep, but had there been I am quite sure it would have killed them. Tho Dip is very easy to mix, and does-not stain or discolor the wool. I dipped the sheep right under and did not lose one through poisoning. lam quite satisfied with tho Dip and intend to use it again this coming season.
