The Ahuriri returned from Waimarama at 9.30 p.m. on Saturday with a full load of wool, whioh sho transhipped to the ship Auckland yesterday in the bay. She afterwards came to the wharf aud got ready for going toMrMcHardy'sßlackbeadstation, for whioh placo she left at a late hour iast night. She will probably return with another load of wool for the ship Auckland. The schooner Awaroa arrived in the bay on Saturday night from Gisborne. She came to the wharf yesterday, and will load coal from Messrs Dolbel and Co., for tho same port. The Wairoa left for Wairoa and AVhakaki last night, aud returns to-night with wool. The Result returned from Mohaka ou Saturday with 80 bales wool, which she transhipped to the Mataura. She will probably leave for .Mohaka again on Wednesday.
The Australia steamed for Wellington at •1.30 p.m. on Saturday. Sho leaves Wellington to-night, and on Wednesday (Boxing Day) runs on an excursion to longoio. The t'nion Company's s.s. Mararoa, Captain Edio, arrived in the bay at 3 p.m. yesterday. She left Williamstown at 10 p.m. on tho 12th, and arrived at Hobart on the 14th ; sailed same day, and reached the Bluff on the 17th, Dunedin on the 18th, Lyttelton on the 20th, and Wellington on tho 22nd ; left Wellington wharf at 8 p.m. same night, but, owing to thick weather, anchored in Worser Bay till 11.30 p.m.; from there experienced fine weather to arrival. We havo to thank Mr. Nancarrow for tho above report and late files. The Mararoa left the bay at 10 p.m. The Kiwi arrived from Wellington this morning. Sho returns to-night. Tho Kahu made a trip to To Apiti on Saturduy, aud returned last night, with 220 bales wool for the barque Arabella. She leaves for the coast aud Wellington tomorrow afternoon. From Wellington she goes to Lyttelton, and thenco on her periodical trip to tho Chatham Islands. The Weka left for Wangawehi on Saturday, und returned this morning with 120 bales wool for tho Mataura.
The Oceana has arrived at Albany from Plymouth with tlie following passengers for New Zealand :—Hon. Mr. und Mrs. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Richurds aud two daughters, Miss Popharn, and Messrs. Hamilton, Steward, Stringer, Sheriff, Churnock, and Anlrobus.
The Binge rooma urrived at Sydney from Auckland yesterday. The Waihora left Sydney for Wellington on Saturday night.
