Hear Sirs, —Wo have yours of the 10th enquiring abont tho result of our flipping from the shears in your dip. We dipped over two thousand of our best ewes with their lambs and about three thousand five hundred hoggets almost directly off the shears without the loss of a sheep from the dipping or any damajro whatever to "either sheep or wool. They were dipped in. November. Yesterday wo had about fifteen hundred of them in the yards, and though, we looked carefully could not find a tick on tho merino, and only one on a crossbred lamb. —Yours truly, , ROYSE & ANDERSON. / Pakowhai, September 20, 1838. Messes Eakins and Co. Gentlemen,- I havo great pleasure in testifying ajrain this season to the efficacy of your Improved Sheep Dip. This is the third season that I havo used your dip, and find it equally satisfactory. The wool is in splendid condition, no discoloration, and free from ticks and lice and wishing you a prosperous season, I remain, yours faithfully, FRANK COLLINGE. To Mahanga, 24th September, 1888. Mksses Eakins and Co., Napier. Dear Sirs, —I have used your " Improved Sheep Dip" for tho last two seasons, and it has given me tho utmost satisfaction. I have tested it with other Dips, and have no hesitation in saying- that it is the* best and most reliablo Dip I have ever used. I intend to continue using it. Yours faithfully, WILLIAM DOUGLAS. GEORGE HESLOP. THE NEW ZEALAND SIIE E P DIP STILL TO THE FRONT. INSTRUCTIONS will be found on every drum, and if carried out a failure is impossible. G. Heslop being a practical Sheepfarmer, and 3 years' in the manufacturing- of tlie above I>ip, finds tliat by dipping a lamb in every brew before leaving works is the only test m turning out an efficacious and uniform Dip. From J. R. Lanauze, Esq. {Auctioneer and Stock Agent for Murray, Roberts and Co.), Hawke's Bay, lstNovembor, 1888. In reply to yours of tho 29-th ult, >vyout Sheep Dip. I havo used it. iv tho mouth of March on long- woolled and crossbred sheep, and always "fmmd it most effectual in destroying lice and ticks, and the sheep were quite 'free from parasites when shorn the following November. The Dip is in no way detrimental to the wool, not leaving the slightest stain. On one occasion 1 dipped 300 long-woolled 2-tooth wethers in your Dip, and put with them 350 crossbred 2-tooth ewes, which had not been dipped and were badly affected with lice and ticks, and after being iv the same paddock for seven weeks the dipped sheep were carefully examined and found to be perfectly free from all parasites. From Philip Dolbel, Esq., Springfield, Hawke's Bay, sth November, ISSB. In reply to yours of 27th October, nyour Sheep Dip, it is a fact that tho 12 sheep of ours, dipped in your N.Z. Sheep Dip, as an experiment, have been running in our flock, and when examined were found perfectly clean, and tho flock which they were running with had been dipped in another Dip, and found on examination to be badly affected with lice. I may state, in justico to your enquiry, that there could bo no mistake as to the 12 sheep above mentioned, as they >vere carefully branded. From Ewon Cameron, Esq., Toanga, Poverty Bay, 10th September, ISBB. Having "used tho New Zealand Sheep Dip for 3 years in succession, can safely say it is fully "equal, if not superior, to any Dip I havo used. From Geo. Bee, Esq., Mohaka, Hawke's Bay, Ist September, 1880. I dipped 3000 hoggets with your Dip last year (March), mixing tho bath according to instructions on the drums, and found it quite strong enough to kill ticks. Thero were no lice on the sheep, but had there been I am quite sure it would havo killed them. Tho Dip is very easy to mix, and doe.s not stain or discolor the wool. I dipped the sheep right under and did not lose one through poisoning. I nin quite satisfied with tho Dip and intend to use it again this coming season.
