New Zealand long berried, ex store, has advanced, and is now quoted at 445. Copper, Chili bars, at last quotations, £78 10s. Tin has declined. Straits tiu is now quoted at £101 1,35. Australian tin £102 ss. Sugar. — German beet is improving. Java sugar has advanced to 10s 3d, nominal. Iron.—Best Scotch pig, f.0.b., has suffered a slight decline, and is now quoted at 41s 3d. Tallow.—Best mutton, 33s ; beef, 325. Later. The English wheat market is now strong in tone, "but, prices remain unchanged. Continental markets unchanged. Tho American market shows an upward tendency. For cargoes of Australian new crop buyers are offering 4 2s. New Zealand wheat, 'on the passage, is quoted at an average of 425. THE RIMUTAKA. The Russian Government are taking active steps to restrict an influx of Chinese into the Amour country. RUSSIAN IMPERIAL RESCRIPT. An Impi rial rescript has been addressed by the Czar to the lirand Duke Alexis, I'iitrh Admiral of Russia, in which he says he rejoiced to observe the progress of tho formation of the Black Sea fleet, by which a considerable extension of Russian trade is secured. The rescript ftirth -r declares that the fleet will be ready to defend Russian rights in the Black Sea.
