Athletics.
After we went press on Saturday afternoon the fallowing further eveuts were run at t,be sporte meeting of the Hawko's Bay Amatour Athletic Club on the Recreation Ground :—
Cumberland Wrestling.—R. Sim, S. Iranian, W. Broughton, and R. D. Kelly entered for that event. Fannin was beaten by Sim, and Kelly beat Broughton, while in the htal the former wou easily. 120 Yards Handicap.—l, T. \V. Lowis (lyd.) ;2, S. R. Kennedy (liyds.); 3, F. C. White (3yds.) A. H. Carnell (scratch), J. I. Cato (scratch), A. Elbom'iie (Byds.), and G. Dryden (10yds), also rati. A very close finish. Time, Uisec.
For tho Mile Walk four started, H. P; Newton (scratch), H. Crowley (,'iftyds.), E. Crowley (bjyils.;,and J. G/,}od.all (oOyds.). Tho race was really between Newton and 11, Crowley, and a tie resulted. Time, 7miu! ,'>2 2-othsec.
880 Yards Handicap.—l, S. R. Kenuedy (loyds.); 2, J. I. Cato (lUvds.); 3, J. Hutchius (lOvds.). C. J. Lamb (20yd*), R. 11. Kelly (22yds.), and J,.' A."Ali\ler (30yds.) also ran. Time, finm. 3\s|thsec. The, E£g uud Basket Race was won hy M. Fpnwioke, Kelly and Crowley filling the plapes in the order named,
