We havo all heard of the shabby show that. New Zealand has made at the MelbourneExhibition, but most of us have hoped that it is not so bad as it was made out to be. But the testimony of those in whom we can place entift! confidence comes home in a way that no other evidence can do, and when we hear from Messrs D. Guy, W. Black, and J. Griffin, who have all visited the exhibition, that they wero ashamed r-f the New Zealand court, we may be certain that it really is something to be ashamed of. Take away from the court the Mosgiel Woollen Factory exhibits, and, « r e are to!d, there would be nothing left worth looking at, not even excepting the portraits of Sir Robert Stout and Sir Julius Vogel.
