ARRIVAL. October.
15 ■\Vniroa, s.s., from Wairoa. Passengers— Mrs. Manyatt; Messrs. Hunter, Carroll, Hassell, and three natives.
The s.s. Wa.iron returned to port yesterday afternoon, and will leave again tor tho satno place on Thursday at 10 a.m. The s.s. Australia leaves Wellington at | 3 p.m. to-day, and is due here about the same hour to-nurrow. She ia announced to steam northwards on Thursday afternoon. The s.s. Kahu arrived this morninur at Lyttclton from her trip to the Chatham Islauds, and is leaving there to-night for Wellington and Nnnier. The barque Rose*M. is now ballasting for Mercury Bay, and will sail in a day or two. The s.s. Fairy will steam for Arapawanui this evening with station .stores. The s.s. Kiwi leaves Wellington to-night, and ia due here on Thursday or Friday. The s.s. Maitai leaves Auckland this afternoon, and after calling at coast stations and Gisborne, should reach here on Friday morning. The Waiiaka left Auckland for south yesterday with San Francisco mail on board.
