Owing to tho inclemency of the weather the Garrison Baud's concert, which was to have been given in tho Clive Square rotunda this evening, has been postponed.
Messrs Kinross and Co. have received tho following cablegram from Dalgety and Co., under dato London, September 21th : — " Since our, last cablegram prices for good combing scoured merino show a rise of a halfpenny. Sales continue firm, with upward tendency, ooarso and medium crossbred excepted."
An Auckland paper says, tho barquo Deva, after discharging her inward cargo, will take in about 200 tons of manganese as stiffening, and then go to Napier to load wool for England.
