Blenheim, This day. At the P.M. Court to-day George Grey, just released from the Picton gaol, was cli.iijei? with obtaining 10s from Richard W.hh. jockey, by a spurious order. Accused i;lei.:U'd to be summarily dealt with, and the offence being proved, the Bench sent him to Terrace guol, Wellington, for three months' hard labor. Accused admitted bis name was Daniel Spence, and confessed to several convictions. Oaiiaru, This day. William Leeson Tipson, arrested here yesterday, was brought up at the Police Court to-day charged with stealing five £5 notes and four €1 notes, the property of Mr Lawrence Ford, of Thornbury, Southland, on the 3let January last. Accused was remanded to Invercargill.
