Tho cricket match, Australians v. Leicestershire, was concluded to-day. The former iv their first innings were disposed of for the small scoro of G2, Jarvis being tho highest scorer with 10. Pougher took four wickets for 31 runs, nnd Arnall and Thompson six for 31. Tho Leicester team, who had made 110 in their first innings, only succeeded in putting together 50 iv their second effort, tho principal scorers being Marriott (12), Pougher (11), and Wheeler (11). Turner secured five wickete for 20 nnd Ferris four for 27. The Australians in their second innings recpiired 1 OS runs to win, but were all out for 87, tho Leicester eleven thus winning by 20 runs. Tho highest scorers were Banncnnan (2), Trotfc (If)), nnrl M'Donncll (12). Pougher took six wickets for 10 and Thompson three for 31. July 7. In the cricket match at Leicester the wicket was heavy and treacherous.
