Kahu, Captain Romerill, steamed for Wellington, Lyttelton, and the Chatham Islands at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, taking from here a quantity of posts and timber for the latter place. Tlie s.B. Suva left Wellington yesterday afternoon, and is due here this evening. Sho . will continue her voyage for northern ports to-morrow afternoon. Tho s.s. Kiwi leaves Wellington for here this evening. Tho ship Lurlino is cabled as having arrived in London on the 25th inst. after a long passage of 127 days. Tho Turakina left here the day before she did, and was reported in the Channel on the Ist May. The s.s. Ohau leaves Timaru to-day, and Lyttelton to-morrow, and is duo Here on Saturday. [PEB .BESS ASSOCIATION. J Dunedin, Last night. Tho ship West of Scotland, from London, arrived last evening after a passage of 73 days. In entering the harbor, just by the pilot station, a heavy squall struck her, and she took the ground, remaining there hard and fast. As she is on an even keel and a sandy bottom no danger is apprehended. Sho was simply blown out of the channel. Sho has three saloon passengers.
