Snow hoe fallen at Adelaide nnd in several of the inland towns of tho other colonies. CHINESE QUESTION. Lord Knutsford has communicated with His Excellency tho Governor by cable, asking , "whethor it would not bo advisable for the New South Wales Parliament to deal with the present Chinese bill, so as to bring it in harmony with the bill drawn up by the Chinese Conference recently held in Sydney. From this it would appear that the Imperial Government are in favor of the latter bill. The Government liuvo replied, explaining their position, and etating that they aro pledged to proceed •with the bill as it is.
