The Emperor William's proclamation to the people is devoid of anything likely to give rise to unfavorable comment. Tho funeral to-day passed off uneventfully. Juno 19. The Emperor William's four sons, Sir Morell Maakenzio, tho Grand Dowager Empress, the Dowager Empress, tho Empress, and the Princess Alexandra were among tho__ who attended the funeral service. Prince Bismarck whs too unwell to bo present. Glorious weather was experienced for the funeral, rendering the military spectacle a most striking ono. London, Juuo 19. Tlio Marquis of Salisbury, Mr Gladstone, and Mr W. H. Smith, in referring to the death of the late Emperor Frederick, highly eulogised him. Tho addresses of condolence to the Empress havo been adopted In both branches of the Legislature. Vienna, June 18. Count Kalnoky expects that the European situation will not bo altered by tho accession of tho Emporor William to tho throno of Germany.
