May. B—Kawatiri, 5.8., for Westport.
Tho Union Company's s.s. Kawatiri, having completed her discharge, steamed for Weßtport at 4 p.m. yesterday afternoon. The Union Company's s.s. Suva left Auckland last night, and is due here early on Friday morning. She will resume her voyage for Wellington in the afternoon. The Union Company's s.s. Australia left Wellington for this port at 4 p.m. yesterday, and should arrive here this afternoon. She will be lightered for her cargo, and is announced to steam for Gisborne and northern coast stations to-morrow afternoon, the last launch leaving the breaßtwork at 4 p.m. Tho s.s. Kahu left Wellington yesterday evening, and should roach here some time during the night. She will proceed on her return trip to Wellington at the earliest opportunity. The s.s. Kiwi loft Wellington for this port yesterday afternoon, but having met . with an accident to her shaft, had to put back again for repairs. She is expected to be ready for sea at the end'of the week, and should reaoh here about Monday next. The s.s. Kaikoura arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Napier.
