A deputation consisting of Chineso residents waited on the Premier to-day and pointed out the unfairness of the Government not allowing thoso persons to land who had left China, believing that by paying a certain sum they would be permitted to go ashore. The Premier replied that those whoso naturalisation papers wore fouud to be genuine would bo allowed to land.
