TWO TRAINS SMASHED UP. EXPLOSION OF GUNPOWDER. ' HOUSES WRECKED AND LOSS OF LIFE. [SPECUIi TO PBHSS ASSOCIATION.—COPYBIOHT^ (Received May 9, 1 a.m.) New Yobk, May 7. A collision occurred between two freight trains on the Philadelphia-Reading railway line, and a vanload of gunpowder exploded. Sovonteen houses in the vicinity of the line were wrecked, and eight persons were Mlled and thirty injured.
